Is Your Creative Tap Turned On? Let Your Inner Wisdom Flow

Inner WisdomTapped In, Turned On

~Pamela Henry

Tapping into the Universal flow
Of inspired expansion
I feel my desires
Rise to the surface

The essence of Creation
Flows through my pen
Onto the page
Receiving every word
Every sound
Every image

Pouring forth
Like a tap
Fully turned on
Urn overflowing
Abundance without end
Flowing downstream
Through all eternity.

~

In The FlowYour ability to create everything you desire comes from within. Your best life, your dream job, your ideal home, your perfect body. Whatever it is for you, it’s your inner wisdom that holds the key to your most heartfelt creations.

Some of you may fear that you are not good enough or worthy of creating what you want. You compare yourselves to others and feel that you don’t quite measure up.

Do you take on the judgement of the world around you as your own?

Do you constantly tell yourself you don’t have any gifts and talents, and even if you do, you have no idea what they are or how to find them?

If this is you, let me tell you beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are a creative genius. Your job is to step into this truth and embrace your unique gifts, talents and abilities.

If you could do anything you want and you knew you would not fail, what would that be?

Creativity is directly related to how you feel. It’s an expression of your vibrational alignment with what you desire to create. When you are feeling good you’re in your flow. It’s from this state of being that you tap into your inner wisdom and inspiration shows up effortlessly.

I like to think about my creativity as a tap and the connection to my inner wisdom as the flow of water. If you’re holding a glass under a tap that is only slightly turned on, you will wait a long time until your glass overflows.

However, if you turn the tap on fully, within seconds your glass is spilling over. In either case, the water is already there, patiently waiting to flow as soon as the tap is turned on. The amount of flow of course, depends on how open the tap is.

How do you fully turn on your tap and receive a flood of inspiration?

How To Connect With Your Inner Wisdom

Meditation is a powerful way to connect with your inner wisdom and tap into your creativity. Sitting in stillness for 10-15 minutes a day is ideal to declutter your brain and create space for what you wish to create.

  • Find a quiet place to sit. Set a timer. This removes the distraction of time.
  • Now close your eyes and turn your focus inward.
  • Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. On each out breath, imagine yourself releasing everything that no longer serves you.

Sometimes I like to begin my meditation by asking a question. It could be as simple as “What do I need to know today?” or “What are my unique gifts and talents?”

I like to follow my question by stating “Please bring the answer in a way that I’ll easily understand”.

Ask the question and let it go. Allow your inner voice to respond. You may receive your answer during meditation or as you go about your day or in the days that follow.

A clear message may show up through an image or voice in your mind. It could show up as a feeling, an inner knowing, you may overhear a conversation or a book may capture your interest. You may receive clarity in a dream.

Release your expectations and trust that you will receive your answer at the perfect time and in the perfect way.
