Redefining Prosperity. The Key To True Wealth

Prosperity
Resounds in the
Depths of each heart
A golden grid of love
Rises to the surface
An invitation
To dance
With never-ending
Possibilities

This cornucopia of
Eternal bliss
Showers
The soul of humanity
With radiant gifts
Of light and love
Giving and receiving
Infinitely
Where vibrational
Well-being releases
The entanglements
Of time and space.

What does prosperity mean to you?

In this world, the word prosperity is most often associated with financial wealth and the luxuries it affords. From this perspective, many look to their bank accounts to assess success. In other words, more money equals more joy, less money equals less joy.

ProsperityWhat is true wealth and what is the key to achieving it?

In Tim Ferriss’s book “The 4 Hour Workweek,” he talks about the new rich. The currency of the new rich is time and mobility and living a life that is focused on what you love to do. When this concept was introduced a few years ago, it opened people’s eyes to the possibility of living your life on your own terms.

If you’re unhappy in your job or your life, you always have a choice to create a lifestyle that supports not only your financial goals but your overall well-being. Each one of you has the power to create a bountiful life that reflects your deepest desires as well as your innate gifts, talents and abilities.

Redefining prosperity.

I’ve come to define prosperity as the abundance that flows from achieving joy across all areas of life. Stepping into your power and claiming life on your own terms is different for each one of us.

What I’m asking you to consider, is to begin looking at prosperity as balance across all areas of your life.  How would this contribute to a happier and more fulfilled existence? As you raise your vibration in one area, you’ll find other areas improve. You are holistic and as you become more balanced, everything shows up with more ease.

True wealth is always available to you. All you have to do is define what you want and place your attention on it. This means taking full responsibility for your dreams and making them happen.

The thing is, if you are struggling in one area of your life, most likely other areas are suffering as a result of the imbalance. When we focus our attention on lack in any area of our life, we create more lack. To create more abundance, place your focus on what you want as opposed to what you don’t want. This is the law of attraction at work.

Sub conscious belief systems are powerful and are often at the root of our seeming inability to create the life we want. So, if you’re not achieving what you would like, I invite you to ponder this question.

Let’s look at some examples to help you start getting clear on beliefs that are no longer serving you.

  • You have to work hard to get anywhere in life
  • Money can’t make you happy
  • You can’t trust anybody
  • There’s not enough for everyone
  • You have to compete to get ahead
  • Life isn’t fair
  • Everyone is out for themselves
  • You’re not good enough or worthy of having what you want

These are just a few sub-conscious beliefs you may have. Do you see how they may be affecting your prosperity? What limited beliefs do you have and how can you turn them into unlimited beliefs?

For example:
Limited: You have to compete to get ahead
Unlimited: There are abundant opportunities for everyone

Achieving harmony is the key to your prosperous life. Shifting your outdated beliefs into unlimited beliefs will help you create balance and unlock your true wealth.

With love and gratitude,

    2. Pam, I always love your poetry at the beginning of your posts. Thanks for the reminder to shift our thoughts to more prosperous ones & get rid of the outdated & limiting beliefs. 🙂

    3. Beautiful post Pamela! I agree with you. I believe that prosperity starts from the inside out and creates a ripple effect in every area of your life. And it usually starts when you are living life on your own terms and doing what you love! Thanks for sharing! 🙂

      • Thank you Patricia! So true, prosperity is all about doing what you love and living life on your own terms. It’s amazing what shows up when you live from the inside out! <3

    4. I believe prosperity comes in many forms and when we get rid of the belief that it’s about money only we open ourselves to all kinds of abundance–new friends and connections, great advice, interesting lessons, helpful knowledge, spiritual gifts, etc. Learning to see the blessings in everything helps to let go of the limiting belief of lack. You make a great point about lack and it’s a lesson for me: if we are looking at any area of our lives as “lacking” we are creating an imbalance that causes the flow of abundance and prosperity to slow in ALL areas. Thanks for the insight!

      • I love your abundance list! Focusing on the blessings in everything and feeling gratitude are powerful ways to shift from lack into abundance. They contribute to a balanced life and open up the flow of prosperity. Thank you for your comment Kathleen! <3
